A musician of extraordinary stylistic
versatility, Roby Lakatos performs the widest possible range of genres with other musicians, among them Stéphane Grapelli, Giora Feidman and Herbie Hancock, as well as Vadim Repin and Randy Brecker. His playing is greatly admired by Yehudi Menuhin, who always made a point of visiting the club in Brussels where Roby Lakatos played regularly. Roby Lakatos has given concerts throughout Europe and makes his American debut at the Hollywood Bowl in 1998, to be followed by an extensive tour of the U.S. A tour of Japan is planned for 1999. |
