Different Microphone Pickup Patterns
SD Systems makes some of the greatest instrument microphones in the world. Our high quality design and craftsmanship is well known in the music industry. Each instrument microphone is specifically designed to bring out the optimal sound using the understanding of sound quality and microphone pickup patterns.

Most of the instrument microphones have specific microphone pickup patterns of cardioids – unidirectional, encapsulating the sound coming only from one direction. This eliminates background noise and key noise that the instrument may make. However, other specific instruments require microphones with a different microphone pickup pattern, namely omni directional. Soprano saxophones, violins and clarinets need specific microphones with microphone pickup patterns that pick up sound from all directions, creating the most specialized recording possible.

Due to taking these microphone pickup patterns in consideration, the technicians at SD Systems were able to create the best possible microphones. They also made them lightweight and unobtrusive so you don’t even know they are there. They have a shock system so you’re free to move around as much as you’d like without disturbing the sound quality. Also, because the microphone is directly attached to instrument, you don’t have to key the microphone pickup patterns in mind by staying stationary around a microphone on a stand.

Special Microphone Pickup from SD Systems
What makes SD Systems so great is that it’s founded by musicians who know what you need which is why they’ve created such great microphones. They understand they you don’t want to be hampered down by the microphone, that you want your freedom back but without losing any sound quality. That’s why they’ve created microphones that take microphone pickup patterns, instrument sound and instrument build into account.

Come take a further look at the instrument microphones by SD Systems and the specialized microphone pickup patterns. You’ll understand why musicians all around the world are recommending these microphones for both personal and professional use.
