LCM110 for Violine
![]() |
The LCM110 from SD Systems reaches the
highest level in violin miking for classical as well as
pop music. Due to the smoothly balanced frequency
response and the omni-directional characteristics of
the element, you get an optimal natural sound
performance. The holder fits in the hole of the tail-piece and works as a fine-tune mechanism, in order to get a shock mount hang up. It will not hurt any part of the violin too! The swan neck is easy to adjust, so that you can direct the mic to the part of the violin that you prefer for your personal sound. It comes with a line level mic pre-amp. LCM112 Has a pre-amp that has a piezo input too with adjustable volume for both piezo (PU-2) and mic, tone controls and line-out. (see LCM100-blender) |

LCM110C for Violine
In June 2000 SD Systems released the LCM110C In certain circumstances you will prefer a mic that has a more directional pattern (C means: Cardiod), in stead of the omni LCM110. When you play in a large violin section this mic has advantages because there is less leakage from other instruments. Also, you do not hear the breathing coming from the mouth. The capsule is a little bigger than the 110-omni.
Pictured left: the famous Roby Lakatos, who is testing the LCM110C at SD Systems studios.
Lakatos is using it now during his tours attending big festivals in Europe with great enthousiasm.
